No formal bar onboard, however, you will find a selection of soft drinks and mixes, as well as quality local wines and beers. Our stock is subject to availability, but feel free to bring along your favourite beverages to enjoy during your voyage. Please note that hard liquor is not available onboard, so you are welcome to bring your own if desired.

Local delicacies, snacks, meats, and treats are included.

We offer a variety of menu options to enhance your sailing experience. Whether you prefer BBQ platters, mezze, or luxury platters, our catering services can be tailored to your needs. All catering must be booked in advance and confirmed at least two weeks prior to your scheduled charter.

You are more than welcome to arrange your own catering.

Prismo is equipped with an onboard sound system featuring Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to play your own music and set the perfect ambiance for your journey. 

We are able to arrange live performances from DJ's to Saxophonists and Violinists.

Prismo boasts ample space with a fully-equipped kitchen, saloon area, comfortable cabins, and bathroom facilities.

Please note that cabin use is reserved for overnight stays and is not available during daytime charters.

Continue your journey to Camps Bay Beach, one of Cape Town's most famous and vibrant beaches. With the stunning backdrop of the Twelve Apostles mountain range, Camps Bay offers a lively atmosphere with beachfront cafes, restaurants, and bars. It's an ideal spot for sunbathing, swimming, and enjoying the local cuisine.

Hout Bay to Clifton Bay:

Distance: 11 nm from Hout Bay
Duration: Approximately 75-90 min each way
Clifton Bay is an excellent anchorage well protected from the swell. Enjoy a sheltered anchorage in the sun with easy access to the beach. Clifton is very popular being one of the few anchorages on the coast. Overnight stays are possible, but only in the best conditions.

Hout Bay to V&A Waterfront:

Distance: 16 nm from Hout Bay
Duration: Approximately 2.5 hrs each way
Cape Town offers a vibrant cityscape with numerous attractions, restaurants, and shops. There is ample space in the V&A Waterfront, and it is well sheltered from the elements. Exploring the iconic Table Mountain and the bustling V&A Waterfront are must-see experiences. Overnight stays in the marina are possible after a day cruise or sail, but capacity for overnight guests is more limited than for day trips.

Hout Bay to Simons Town:

Distance: 35 nm from Hout Bay
Duration: Approximately 4.5 hours each way
This trip takes you on a longer route down along the peninsula and through Cape Point Nature Reserve. Travel time may vary depending on the opportunity to sail & the conditions around Cape Point. The route will be more weather dependent due to the varying exposure along the way. Simon’s Town does not offer space in a marina like the Waterfront or Hout Bay, and so overnight stays would be on board Prismo on anchor. The town offers various museums, restaurants, and shops within a short walk from the Town Jetty. During the season, False Bay is a favoured location for whale watching. Boulders Beach, home to hundreds of African penguins, is a short distance away.

• All charters are weather dependent and at the discretion of management.
• Rates are in South African rands.
• All charters are subject to our general terms and conditions and signed indemnity forms.
• You will be required to acknowledge T&C's specific for Prismo.
   

• Contact us to inquire about a specific vessel. We will send you full details about the vessel and your charter.
• Once the date and time is agreed, fill, sign, and acknowledge our Booking Terms.
• Once the Booking Terms has been received, we will send you a quote, invoice, and payment link.
• To reserve the charter, make a full payment or a 50% deposit payment.
• The balance is required within 6 weeks of the charter date.
• Should you wish to book, and it is less than 6 weeks before the charter date, full payment is required.
• For local payments, use EFT or a secure payment link via Peach Payments. For international payments, we'll provide a secure payment link.
• Reserve your charter early to avoid disappointment, especially during peak season.
• Avoid booking on the final day of your holiday due to unpredictable weather conditions in Cape Town. Keep a few days available to account for potential rescheduling.
• Once we receive your payment, a charter confirmation email will be sent with all relevant details.
