2 Hour - Esperance Sailing Experience

Esperance is a purpose-built day charter sailing Schooner known for its unique features. It boasts twin masts, providing added stability and elegance to its design. The vessel also offers twin seating areas, allowing passengers to relax and enjoy the journey from different vantage points. One notable feature is its large bowsprit, which adds to the vessel's distinctive appearance.

When it comes to seating, the Esperance provides spacious sunken cockpits located below the rigging and sails. This arrangement ensures a comfortable and immersive experience for guests while sailing across Table Bay. As you embark on your voyage, you'll have the opportunity to take in the stunning mountain views that surround the bay, creating a picturesque backdrop for your sailing adventure.

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by professional crew. Additionally, Esperance Schooner offers the following amenities:

Bar:

We offer a fully stocked onboard bar that accepts both cash and card payments. Please note that drink options are subject to availability. For your convenience, we have attached a beverage list that includes local beers, wines, sparkling wines, and soft drinks. If you prefer, you may also bring your own wines or champagne, but please be aware that a corkage fee of R50 per bottle will apply.

Please note that no other alcohol or soft drinks are allowed onboard. Additionally, you have the option to arrange a welcome drink for your guests or set up a bar tab in advance (please be aware that the bar tab is non-refundable).

Catering:

We offer a variety of menu options that can be viewed online. Please note that catering must be arranged prior to your charter.

You are also welcome to bring your own food and snacks onboard if you prefer.

Service fee:

A 10% service charge is charged on the food and drinks.

DJ / Entertainer:

Onboard sound system with Bluetooth connection is available, should you wish to bring your own music.

We have numerous DJs on our supplier list and are happy to facilitate that for you. Cape Town based Singer/Entertainer details available on request.

You are welcome to supply your own DJ, however they will need to bring their own equipment and speakers.

Features:

The sailing vessel is a single-decked boat featuring a covered saloon area for indoor relaxation. It includes a single marine toilet for convenience. Esperance offers a large open cockpit in front of the saloon, providing ample space for outdoor seating and enjoyment. Additionally, there is a second large open cockpit located behind the saloon, offering another area for passengers to relax and take in the surroundings.

Route:

Typically, the most scenic route for our cruises is from Granger Bay, passing by the iconic Light House and Sea Point, and continuing up to Clifton Beach. Throughout the trip, you'll enjoy breath-taking views of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles Mountain range. However, depending on the weather and sea conditions, the skipper may choose to explore the entire Table Bay and surrounding areas. Ultimately, the skipper will make the final decision on the route taken.

Weather:

The cruising time and course are subject to weather conditions and the skipper's discretion. Our top priority is the safety of you and your guests.

Activities:

Looking to add some water-sports fun to your booking? Consider including stand-up paddleboards and jet skis to your itinerary.

Add On’s:

• Enhance your Clifton party or yacht life experience by adding a welcome boarding drink and a DJ to your booking.
• For a truly expert experience, consider adding on the services of a marine biologist to your booking.
• To enjoy drinks from our onboard bar, consider adding a bar tab to your booking.
• Consider adding a RAW CATERING menu selection to your booking, which can include the services of waiters and/or a chef.
