The yacht features a fully stocked bar with a great selection of drinks available for purchase. Both cash and card facilities are accepted for your convenience.

Please note: Bringing your own drinks is not permitted.

Catering is not included in your private charter but can be added at an additional per-person cost.

Your platter includes:

• Crispy crumbed prawns
• Sliced smoked chicken
• Camembert, Brie and Blue cheese served with homemade onion marmalade and preserved figs
• Kalamata olives and feta-stuffed peppadews
• Fresh seasonal fruit
• Fresh rosemary and black pepper baguette served with creamy hummus and a flavourful peppadew dip

It is possible to cater for vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary requirements or food allergies with advance notice, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience.

The yacht is equipped with a sound system and Bluetooth connection, so you can easily play your favourite music onboard.

Is a beautifully designed single-deck sailing yacht with a full sailing rig, a 21-metre mast, and a spacious teak deck.

Set sail across the calm Knysna estuary and head towards the iconic Knysna Heads. From there, weather permitting, you’ll venture into the open ocean and cruise alongside dramatic sandstone cliffs.

Take in the fresh sea air, breathtaking scenery, and keep an eye out for marine life such as whales, dolphins, and seabirds including Cape Gannets and albatross. It’s a truly unforgettable experience.

Ocean conditions around the Knysna Heads are influenced by tides, wind, and swell. For this reason, going out to sea cannot always be guaranteed.

Cruising times and routes may change depending on the weather and the captain’s discretion. Your safety is always our top priority.

Recommend dressing in layers, as it can get chilly out at sea.

• Bring a warm jacket or hoodie
• Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are essential
• Cameras are highly encouraged for capturing special moments

Blankets are provided on colder days for your comfort.

Please note: This is a no-shoes yacht. We recommend bringing socks, especially in cooler weather.

The Outeniqua is moored at the Knysna Quays, alongside Dry Dock Restaurant.

A remote-controlled bridge is lowered for easy boarding. Once onboard, guests are asked to remove their shoes before stepping onto the deck.

After everyone is comfortably seated, your skipper will lift the bridge and your journey will begin.

Before passing through the Knysna Heads, all guests are required to wear SAMSA-approved, lightweight inflatable Laliza Sigma life jackets.

Our crew will assist you and ensure everything is fitted correctly. Life jackets can be removed once you return from the open sea.

• Pay 50% deposit (or full if <7 days to charter)
