Upon the yacht's return from its adventure beyond the heads, a delicious spread of finger foods, breads, and spreads will be laid out on the aft deck.

The finger food selection includes an array of cheeses with preserves, crumbed prawns, peppadews stuffed with feta, smoked chicken slices, and seasonal fruits.

We kindly ask passengers to inform us before the trip if they have any dietary requirements or allergies, so that we can accommodate everyone's needs and ensure an inclusive experience for all.

Onboard sound system with Bluetooth connection is available, should you wish to bring your own music.

The sailing vessel is a single-decked boat with a full sailing rig. It features a 21-meter mast and a 4-meter beam. The teak decking is spacious and comfortable to accommodate 12 guests. Restrooms with marine toilets are available below deck.  The stern (back) seating rail provides a perfect vantage point for observing the surroundings and watching the crew in action. For those who prefer to relax and soak in the sun, the bow (front) deck area is ideal.

Experience the exhilaration of sailing parallel to the stunning sandstone formations along this picturesque coastline. Immerse yourself in the scent of the salty air and let the backdrop of Knysna Heads create an unforgettable experience. Keep an eye out for a diverse range of marine life from whales and dolphins to a variety of pelagic birds like diving Cape Gannots and majestic Albatross.

The cruising time and route may be adjusted based on weather conditions and the captain's judgment, prioritizing the safety of you and your guests.

For your comfort, we recommend wearing a warm jacket or hoodie and dressing in layers, as it can get chilly out at sea. Feel free to bring extra clothes. We provide cozy blankets for those colder days. Remember to bring sunblock, sunglasses, and hats/caps for sun protection. Don't forget your camera to capture unforgettable moments.

Kindly note that we have a strict no shoes policy on-board, and during the colder season, guests are advised to bring socks for added warmth.

Located at the Knysna Quays, next to the Dry Dock Restaurant, you will find the Outeniqua moored. To facilitate easy boarding, a remote-controlled bridge is lowered from the quay side onto the yacht's stern. Passengers are kindly requested to remove their shoes before stepping onto the deck. Once everyone is comfortably aboard and seated, our skipper will raise the bridge, and we will depart from the waterfront.

Prior to proceeding through the Knysna Heads, all passengers must wear SAMSA approved ultra-lightweight inflatable Laliza Sigma life jackets. Our skipper will provide instructions to our deckhands to assist passengers in preparing for the journey. The life jackets can be removed once the yacht returns from the sea. Safety is our utmost priority.
