IQ Catamaran

An onboard cash or card bar is available for your convenience.

If you prefer to bring your own drinks, a corkage fee will be charged. The fee is R2,000 for 2 hours, and R1,000 per hour thereafter, if you choose not to use the onboard bar.

Wine and sparkling wine corkage fee is R50 per bottle, while hard liquor is R100 per bottle, if they are not on the beverage list. Please note that ciders, beers or soft drinks are not permitted. It is important that you bring your own containers and ice to keep your drinks chilled.

Please note that menu options must be arranged prior to the charter and are available for your convenience.

Gas BBQ/Braai facilities are available at an additional usage fee of R500. If you would like a designated Braaimaster, a fee of R500 will apply. However, please keep in mind that the crew cannot braai.

You are welcome to bring your own food and snacks. Please note that cutlery, crockery, and plates are not included, so kindly bring your own.

Please note that a 10% service charge will be added to the cost of food and drinks.

Onboard sound system with USB, Bluetooth or AUX connection (supply on AUX cable) is available, should you wish to bring your own music.

If require additional base & volume for your event a JBL Bluetooth speaker is available for hire at a R500 fee.

We have numerous DJs on our supplier list and are happy to facilitate that for you. We are able to arrange live performances from DJ's to Saxophonists and Violinists.

You are welcome to supply your own DJ, however they will need to bring their own equipment and speakers. Use of the generator @ R500 (as there is no power out at sea).

Our IQ Catamaran offers a range of amenities for your comfort and enjoyment, including a cash/card bar, gas braai facilities, two heads (toilets), a galley (kitchen), trampoline area with a roof covering, an onboard sound system, padded seating, teak decking, blankets, two swim ladders, hand-held showers, water toys, free Wi-Fi, and two double cabins. Please note that the use of cabins is only permitted for overnight stays and not for daytime charters.

Our most popular route for cruising on the IQ Catamaran begins at Granger Bay and takes you past the iconic lighthouse and Sea Point before heading up to Clifton Beach, offering breath-taking views of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles Mountain range throughout the journey. However, depending on weather and sea conditions, the skipper may decide to explore other areas in Table Bay and its surroundings. The final route will be at the discretion of the skipper.

Please note that the duration and course of your cruise aboard the IQ Catamaran may be affected by weather conditions and will be determined at the discretion of the skipper. Rest assured that the safety of you and your guests will always be our top priority.

• All charters are weather dependent and at the discretion of management.
• Rates are in South African Rands.
• All charters are subject to our general terms and conditions and signed indemnity forms.
• You will be required to acknowledge T&C's specific for IQ Catamaran.

• Contact us to inquire about a specific vessel. We will send you full details about the vessel and your charter.
• Once the date and time is agreed, fill, sign, and acknowledge our Booking Terms.
• Once the Booking Terms has been received, we will send you a quote, invoice, and payment link.
• To reserve the charter, make a full payment or a 50% deposit payment.
• The balance is required within 7 working days of the charter date.
• Should you wish to book, and it is less than 7 working days before the charter date, full payment is required.
• For local payments, use EFT or a secure payment link via Peach Payments. For international payments, we'll provide a secure payment link.
• Reserve your charter early to avoid disappointment, especially during peak season.
• Avoid booking on the final day of your holiday due to unpredictable weather conditions in Cape Town. Keep a few days available to account for potential rescheduling.
• Once we receive your payment, a charter confirmation email will be sent with all relevant details.
