There is plenty space onboard, both an upper and lower deck, kitchen, a lounge, cabins and toilet facilities. NB!! The use of cabins is only for overnight stay and not for daytime charters.
To embark on the most scenic route, we recommend starting at Granger Bay and cruising past the iconic lighthouse and Sea Point before heading towards Clifton Beach. This will provide you with breath-taking views of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles Mountain range. Depending on the length of your charter, Clifton Beach could be the perfect spot to anchor, relax, soak up the South African sun, and indulge in delectable snacks and drinks before heading back. The captain will make the final decision on whether to explore the entire Table Bay and its surroundings based on the prevailing weather and sea conditions.
The cruising time and course are subject to weather conditions and the captain's discretion. Our top priority is the safety of you and your guests.
Princess Emma is licensed and surveyed as a charter vessel by the South African Maritime Safety Authority.
Add on some water sport activities such as jet skis and inflatable SUP boards & paddle.

Cape Town to Clifton Bay:
Distance: 6 nm from Cape Town
Duration: Approximately 30 - 45 min each way
Fuel estimate: Return trip, around 200 litres
Located on the route to Hout Bay, Clifton Bay is an excellent spot to drop anchor and spend a few hours basking in the sun and taking a refreshing dip in the cool water. During the summer, Clifton tends to be a bustling anchorage and a popular beach destination. However, it is not advisable to stay overnight unless the weather conditions are optimal.
Cape Town to Hout Bay:
Distance: 16 nm from Cape Town
Duration: Approximately 1 - 1,5hrs each way.
Fuel estimate: Return trip, around 800 litres
Hout Bay is a charming fishing village that boasts several noteworthy restaurants within the harbour, as well as numerous options in town. Although berthing is typically available alongside the quay, it is not guaranteed. Therefore, it may be necessary to drop anchor for the night. Additionally, a scenic drive along Chapman's Peak, especially at sunset, is a must-see experience.
Cape Town to Simons Town:
Distance: 50 nm from Cape Town
Duration: Approximately 2,5 hours each way.
Fuel estimate: Return trip, around 2200 litres
Simons Town does not offer berthing facilities for Princess Emma; thus overnight stays will be spent at anchor. Fortunately, guests can explore various museums, restaurants, and a selection of small shops within a short 2-minute walk from the Town Jetty. During the season, False Bay is a favoured location for whale watching. Additionally, Boulders Beach, which is just a quick taxi ride from town, is home to hundreds of African penguins. Finally, tours to the Cape Point Nature Reserve can be arranged upon request.
Princess Emma offers various alternative packages, including honeymoon packages, photographic shoots, as well as conference and meeting packages.
