Collect your tickets at the IQ booth and be welcomed onboard by our friendly crew.

Once everyone is ready, we sail out of the harbour for stunning views of the vibrant Waterfront and Admire the magnificent vessels, including luxury yachts, catamarans, sailing vessels, working boats, and even the Robben Island ferries.

Once we venture out of the harbour, prepare to be further captivated by awe-inspiring views of Table Mountain and the majestic Twelve Apostles Mountain range.

During the cruise, there's no better way to enhance the experience than by indulging in complimentary sparkling wine. For those craving more options, we also have an onboard bar offering a wide selection of beverages for purchase.

Keep your eyes peeled for the diverse marine life that calls Cape Town's waters home. You might spot playful dolphins dancing in the waves, majestic whales breaching the surface, adorable seals & penguins basking in the sun, or even the peculiar Sun Fish making its appearance.

As the sun begins its descent towards the horizon, we'll take you just past the Seapoint lighthouse, a prime spot to witness the awe-inspiring South African sunset.

As we head back to the Waterfront, you'll witness the city lights of Cape Town coming alive at night.

To ensure a smooth departure, please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time

• Please note that departure times may vary throughout the winter and summer seasons, as they are determined by the actual sunset time.

• During the summer season, the estimated departure times are as follows:

  • September: 17:30

  • October: 18:00

  • End of October to mid-November: 18:30

  • End of November to December: 19:00

  • January & February: 19:00

Please keep these times in mind when planning your cruise.

The route of the cruise are subject to weather conditions and the captain's discretion. Rest assured, your safety and the safety of your guests will always remain our utmost priority.

We suggest bringing along sunglasses, hats, a jersey or windbreaker as well as non-deck marking shoes (e.g. trainers/deck shoes), no black soles or high heels.

• Please arrive on time as the boat will not wait for latecomers and refunds will not be provided.
• A cash or card bar is available on board.
• Dry snacks are available to purcahse onboard.
• No professional photography will be allowed, in order to respect the other guests onboard. A private charter is suggested for this.
• Kindly consider tipping the crew.
• Notes on the rates:
  • Adults = full rates (13+ year olds)
  • Children = half price (3 - 12 years old)
  • Infants = free (0 - 2 years old)
• All cruises are subject to our General Terms and Conditions and require a signed Charter Agreement and indemnity forms.

By purchasing this ticket, you agree to the following conditions:

• IQ Catamaran and its staff will not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or death during the cruise, including embarking and disembarking, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
• Passengers are under the authority of the vessel's Master and must comply with their instructions during the cruise.
• Passengers will be held responsible for any damages to the craft, fittings, or fixtures caused by negligence or misconduct.
• Passengers should behave in a manner that does not cause offense or discomfort to others.
• Only passengers with valid tickets are allowed on board.
