Your adventure begins at the iconic V&A Waterfront in Cape town. After a comprehensive safety and marine life briefing your safari on the ocean begins. You will cruise along the Atlantic Seaboard coastline (weather and marine life permitting). Marvel at the breathtaking views of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles mountain range while keeping a keen eye out for Cape Town's Marine Big 5 – whales, dolphins, seals, penguins, and the elusive sunfish. Bird enthusiasts will also delight in the diverse pelagic bird species that call Cape Town home.

As feeding or chumming to lure marine life is prohibitted, their presence can't be guaranteed, however they're often seen. The dedicated Skipper and guides go the extra mile to bring you Cape Town's incredible marine wonders. On the Ocean Safari Tour, you will embark on a quest to find these incredible creatures. As such, the route isn't fixed; the Skipper adjusts course based on marine life sightings, whether they're out at sea or near the shoreline. Keep in mind that the route depends on the weather and is ultimately determined by the Skipper's expertise and judgment.

Cape Town's weather is highly variable, with daily changes all year round. Safety is the utmost concern, and the crew will continuously evaluate ocean conditions to identify the best days and times for your safety and enjoyment. Should any adjustments to your booking be necessary, there will be ample advance notice provided.
