Jet Ski Experience

You will need to head to the Oceana Powerboat Club in Granger Bay, right next to the iconic V&A Waterfront, our enthusiastic crew will be eagerly awaiting your arrival, eager to join you on this exhilarating aquatic escapade. With our experienced instructors by your side, you'll receive expert guidance on operating the jet skis, ensuring your safety and boosting your confidence for an unforgettable ride.

Jet ski usage is weather dependant and at the instructor's discretion. Rest assured, your safety and the safety of your guests will always remain our utmost priority.

Wear comfortable, water-friendly clothing for your jet ski adventure.

Consider bringing a wetsuit, towel, and a camera to capture your incredible experience. Our skilled skipper can also help capture amazing shots for you!

• Experience Level - None
• If the clients are under the age of 18 years – they will be required to ride the skis with a licensed skipper with them for the duration of the experience, this is for safety reasons.
• The minimum age required to partake in the experience is 10 years – however if the crew believe it is a safety risk to allow (due to height and weight) the client to operate the ski we will not be able to assis
• Weight restriction – maximum weight allowed on each ski is 130Kg.

Hire directly from shore:

1 person – 1 jet ski – 30min = R2,400

1 person – 1 jet ski – 1hour = R3,000

2 persons sharing – 1 jet ski – 1hour = R3490,00 (R3,000 + R490)

2 person – 2 jets ski – 30min = R4,800

2 persons – 2 jet ski – 1hour = R6,000

Additional persons = R490 (we do not allow 30 minutes to be split amongst 2 people.)

• All clients are required to be at the meet up point a minimum of 15 minutes prior to their experience timeslot (EG. if their booking is at 12:00 – they are required to be at the location by 11:45 latest to complete out indemnity form and receive a safety briefing from the crew onsite). If the client does not arrive by the above timeframe, they will have their experience cut short, however if they do not arrive within 15 minutes after their timeslot they forfeit their experience without a refund.
• All clients are to be provided with the terms and conditions prior to payment for their experience.
• Clients who have caused damages during their experience will be held responsible for the cost of repair, ranging between R2500,00 – R10000,00 (price will depend on the severity of damages).
• Please note that Oceanstar Charters has a zero-tolerance policy with regards to alcohol and banned substances – if the crew onsite have any reason (if they can smell anything on their person, witnessing the consumption, etc.) to suspect that the clients have consumed anything stated above, they hold the right to refuse service.
• Please note that all clients will be taken to our designated course within Granger Bay via Powerboat.
• We treat the experience as a training session to teach clients how to safely operate a jetski, and to define their skills in a safety and comfortable environment.
• We only allow one person on a ski at a time unless the client is on the ski with a licensed skipper from our team.
