Cape Town Abseil offers an awe-inspiring perspective of the cityscape as you gracefully descend 112 meters down the rugged cliffside. With the Atlantic Seaboard and the majestic Twelve Apostles accompanying you on this thrilling journey, your heart will race as you take that first step off the mountain, standing a towering 1067 meters above sea level.

Safety is paramount, with all equipment and a thorough briefing provided. Post-abseil, savor a leisurely 30-minute hike back, reveling in breathtaking scenery.

The entire experience typically spans around an hour. Within this timeframe, you'll receive a safety demonstration, gear up with a harness, engage in the abseil, and conclude with a brief hike to return to the mountain's summit.

• Weather: Please confirm the weather conditions on the morning of your activity.
• Experience: Suitable for beginners – no previous experience is required.
• Footwear: Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are essential.
• Weather-dependent: If the activity is cancelled due to weather, you can reschedule free of charge.
• Health: Not suitable for guests with severe vertigo or certain heart conditions.
• Weight limit: Maximum weight is 130 kg.
• Minimum age: Guests must be 12 years or older.
• Walking: Please be prepared for a moderate uphill walk as part of the experience.

• Don't forget to bring your camera or GoPro to capture the breathtaking views during your hike back to the summit.
• Additionally, be sure to have water with you for your post-abseil hike.

Please dress comfortably, wear suitable footwear, and bring a warm jacket with you.

Please note that our operations are suspended in the event of rain at the top of the mountain, specifically over the abseil site.

You are welcome to invite guests or spectators to view your abseil experience from the top.
